Rough Rider in Manitowoc, Wisc. Harbor 1904
Rough Rider was an early gas powered great lakes fishing boat, launched in Manitowoc, Wis in 1904. My gr.grandfather, Capt. Axel B. Dahlmer bought her in 1909 and my grandfather, Capt. John A. Dahlmer sailed her to Gloucester, Ma in 1910 where she engaged in the new gillnet fishery in that port.
