Capt. John A. Dahlmer's '53 foot fishing boat, "Margaret D." fitting out at West Wharf on Rocky Neck, Gloucester, Ma. for the upcoming summer's seining for Mackerel. Built for Capt. Dahlmer in Ashtabula, Oh. specifically for gillnetting in the Atlantic ocean out of Gloucester, she fished that method in Winter and seined for Mackerel during the summer. She was christened by and named for the captain's daughter, Margaret V. Dahlmer
