Description
The homestead and garrison of Capt. Phillip Hubbard on Old Field Road, Berwick, Maine as it appeared during the American Revolutionary. Philllip was an officer in the Indian Wars of the 1800s. His son, Capt. Philip Hubbard led the 2nd. Maine company to Cambridge in 1775 joining George Washington's Colonial army against the British at Bunker Hill six of his sons and 2 sons in law fought with him. He later served in commanded the coastal defenses of Maine.
